Basically, you have to get an african family to get through 4 years of their life to make it a better future for their children. Mom and Dad may be sent to work or going to vocational school to get better job. Their children may be sent to work or go to school. You will soon find it's hard to earn money if there is only 2 people working while it's not possible to send the youngest one to work other than in the family's farm.
Sometime a family member would get sick or a storm would destroyed their home or get robbed on the way to work, or sometime there is no proper work to do, while school is so expensive at the start of the game.
So how do these family survive then? Some helping hands do come from Oxfam to improve their life, Unicef, and a cousin from USA sending money.
